Wildfire Animal Rescue

New Mexico Cattle Grower’s Association

Created in 2009, the Producer’s Relief Fund provides aid for livestock (which includes cattle, sheep, llamas, goats, and horses) displaced by a natural disaster.  Contributions directly help purchase hay, feed, and infrastructure to replace drinker tubs, fencing, & barns. In the Hermit’s Peak/Cuervo fire over 1000 Cattle are displaced, and more counting the horses and other livestock.  The Albuquerque office works with over 100 wool growers and their livestock.

A lot of the land that burned is an allotment from the U.S. Forest Service. The pasturelands are destroyed and the animals need a new location to graze.  The CGANM will be working with Congresswoman Yvette Herrell to ask the Forest Service to make an allotment to place the animals.

What happens to the animals if they don’t get placed?  The producers sell their animals and be shipped out of state.  New Mexico loses a food source.  We want them to stay with the producers because that is their livelihood and because they feed New Mexicans.

Our Message

New Mexicans want Safety, Freedom, and Good Schools. We are for the family and have strong religious values. We are workers and business owners. We want to pay fair prices for food and gas. We want New Mexico to prosper. Our Conservative Values are the values of most New Mexicans regardless of ethnicity, age, and gender.

To have a successful event, we need committed folks to help with planning the 3-hour event.

IGNITE the Vote Ole’ -GOTV- is the kick-off for the Primary Election on June 6th and will bring together candidates, voters, and the media.

The Republican Party of Bernalillo County is the anchor organization of IGNITE. To make IGNITE the Vote Ole’ a really great event we must invite and use the talents and resources of the many grassroots organizations. Only the grassroots organizations have the power to change the course and structure of the Legislature, Governor, and Supreme Court towards values shared by All New Mexicans.

The goal of IGNITE the Vote Ole’ is messaging that invites and welcomes ALL New Mexicans to vote and elect the Conservative Candidates that share their values.

Background

IGNITE is the Event Umbrella Name.

IGNITE the Fire -Candidate Rally was the first IGNITE event held February 19, 2022, at Legacy on Central Avenue at 11 – 2 PM. This was the kick-off event leading up to the Republican State Pre-Primary Convention in Ruidoso. IGNITE the Fire – Candidate Rally highlighted 13 of 14 Candidates for Congressional, Gubernatorial, and Lt. Governor races. The target audience were the delegates from Bernalillo, Sandoval, Valencia, Torrance, and Santa Fe. These counties comprise over half of the State Delegation. The event was open to the public and the media and over 450 voters participated. IGNITE the Fire -Candidate Rally generated excitement and visibility of candidates contributing to the largest Republican State Pre-Primary Convention in memory.

Recent census data shows that New Mexico’s population is 47% Hispanic. In Bernalillo County 52% of our Candidates are self-declared minorities and 42% of our Candidates are Hispanic.
